Welcome to my site!

My name is Arthur Cribbs and I am a Homepage Editor for The Washington Post.

At The Washington Post, I work nights and weekends to curate the digital website, test headlines, send breaking news alerts to the app and Apple News, edit our newsletters and create Google Showcase panels. In addition to my daily assignments on the homepage, I spent much of 2024 leading our team in preparation for the Presidential Election. I coordinated with other teams across the newsroom on stories to expect and with engineers on testing our tools. I also designed several layouts in preparation for any scenario and created a plan for both Election Day and the days the followed the calling of the race. Prior to joining The Post, I edited videos for live television and digital platforms as a Broadcast Associate for MLB Network, utilizing skills I learned as a media, journalism and film student at Howard University.

During my college years, I worked for ESPN’s The Undefeated, Fox Sports, Axios and Sony Pictures through various internship and fellowship opportunities. On campus, I also led as the Editor-In-Chief of 101 Magazine, served as the Production Manager of Spotlight Network and worked with the Howard Athletics Department. I also spent a summer at the UCLA Anderson Center for Media, Entertainment and Sports, and worked on a marketing project with the Los Angeles Angels.

Outside of my work, I also spent a year with Jumpstart, a program through Americorps, where I volunteered over 300 hours with pre-school-aged children in Southeast Washington, D.C.
