MLB Network
Working at MLB Network, one of my duties included working on MLB Highlight shifts, where I created multiple versions of any given day’s games. These versions included a full 7-10 minute version for YouTube, a 5-7 minute version for Facebook, a version for MLB.com that was at least 3 minutes and a 30-second version. Additionally, with these shifts, I created SOT (sound-on-tape) highlights for the network’s show, Quick Pitch, and VO (voice-over) versions for the show’s MLB Tonight and MLB Central.
In addition to the daily assignments of these various highlight versions, I worked on weekly Facebook projects, which focused on a select team’s weekly recap, top moments from the week’s action and top player of the week, as well as teasers for games that were broadcast by MLB Network.
I also worked on shifts specific to certain MLB Network shows, such as Quick Pitch, where I created video montages of the top defensive plays, which were featured in the Capital One Premier Plays segment, and dramatic moments from the day’s action in the segment Quick Pitch Rewind.
